The Young Laureates Programme, an expansion of the Rolex Awards for Enterprise, fosters innovation in the next generation. Established in 2009, the initiative supports visionary young individuals at a critical juncture in their careers, enabling them to implement inventive ideas that tackle the world’s most pressing issues in five areas: science and health, applied technology, exploration, the environment, and cultural preservation. The YLP publication served as a vehicle in facilitating global awareness towards these issues as well as documenting the strides taken by these resolute men and women.

Black Flagler
As a kid I recall driving down West Flagler in my gramp’s eighty-something’ Buick Riviera, overlooking the already then dilapidated structure of the Flagler Dog Track. Once a mainstay venue for only the truest kennel clubbers, it oddly enough (and most memorably) went on to share its lot with the Flagler Flea Market. After 26 years, recent construction has forced these vendors to shutdown their bazaar, as the structure once again evolves into a revenue-generating beast now known as the ‘Magic City’ Casino. This piece is an acknowledgement of Miami’s pillar of culture.

Special thanks to Michael Freimuth and Kyle Poff for dropping it in the latest issue of Matériel Magazine.</description>

MyCon by Converse
Before shifting gears towards a different project title, namely, Get Your Converse Stuff Inked, MyCon was set to become Converse's customizable apparel line. The project would offer fans a unique customization experience involving an archived selection of over 200 graphic options to be screen-printed onto a number of their products. Above are a number of initial concepts and marks reflecting the anticipated diversity behind the project.

Ovi by Nokia - Brand Refresh
As an attempt to reinforce its position as the world's fastest growing source for mobile/internet services, Ovi by Nokia asked us to explore redesigning some of its core brand elements. The objective was to create an all-encompassing mark that would speak to the overall brand message and in-turn, create a relatable icon system for Ovi's six core services: Calendar, Contacts, Store, Maps, Music, and Mail.

Domino's Pizza - Information Graphics
From streamlining the tedious task of ordering, to designing dynamic packaging for many of its menu items, Domino's has revolutionized the pizza experience. As part of this transformation, a system of information graphics were created to enhance the aesthetics of their pizza box as well as the customer's interaction with the package. The designs offered an entertaining way to physically interact with the package, while providing a useful way of keeping track with one's order.

Geek Squad
Geek Squad agents provide accessible technology consultation, home repairs, and installations across a variety of products. In order to more accurately breakdown a rather complex pricing system, a fully integrated icon system was created and implemented across their entire range of services.

Burger King Global Packaging
In 2010, Burger King launched its newly reinvented global packaging. The fast-food king sought to universally expand its appeal across various international markets by minimizing the use of copy and adding more emphasis to their products. The result was a bold, illustrative approach at showcasing some of their more popular menu items. My assignment involved illustrating various sandwiches, sides and ingredients, as well as redesigning their existing icon system and sandwich wrappers.

Volkswagen Brochures
As the world's third largest automobile manufacturer, Volkswagen designs and produces quality vehicles to suit people's lives and lifestyles. As a testament to such principles, I sought to create a series of promotional brochures to accompany a number of their models. Each brochure consisted of a unique and compelling blend of imagery, illustration, and iconography, all the while providing insight into what makes the "people's car" brand one of most respected companies of all-time.
